I had friends who waited years to get a full time contract position. I have been on hiring teams at my school (I hold a position of responsibility) and I think that teachers who have a lot of experience are an asset. You have been in many schools, and have probably learned a lot more than someone who has only been in one place. Keep networking! I have a "volunteer" working in my class this year. She graduated two years ago, and is on the "eligible to hire" list but there is no movement in my board. She is volunteering so that she continues to learn and broaden her resume. My fingers are crossed for you!
Come by and visit my blog if you get a moment:
http:teachingisagift.blogspot.caMs.M from Teachingisagifthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10482334866440146334noreply@blogger.com
